My PhD in English and Creative Writing was conferred at Loughborough University in July 2016. My MA in English – Creative Writing was also gained at Loughborough.
I have a university teaching certificate and have taught on some of the creative writing modules as well as the publishing module.
Following the doctorate I trained with the Publishing Training Centre and took courses in Proofreading (passed with credit) and Essential copy-editing (passed with distinction).
With Liminal Pages I have completed two courses in development editing: Fiction Theory and Fiction Theory in Practice.
I am a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute for Editors and Proofreaders.
